Description
Bozeman-Fritsch catheter used for the relief of ureterovaginal fistulas, a condition which causes a passageway to develop between the ureter, a tube that carries urine from the kidney to the bladder, and the vagina. These catheters are typically curved, with several openings at the tip.
This instrument is named after Nathan Bozeman (1825-1905) and Heinrich Fritsch (1844-1915).
