Title A name given to the resource Lucy Baldwin Gas-Oxygen Analgesia Apparatus Description An account of the resource Lucy Baldwin- Countess Baldwin of Bewdley, wife of Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin, and maternity health activist. This gas-oxygen analgesia apparatus would have been administered to women in labour as a source of pain relief. It is named after Lucy Baldwin in honour of her efforts to advance the practice of midwifery and the care of expecting mothers.
