We also hold deposited archive collections from some of the physicians and surgeons who have been associated with the College over hundreds of years. Connecting to our locality in the West of Scotland, we also hold many records relating to local medical societies and associations. We've digitised a selection of items from our archive collections, and we add new items regularly. Andrew Allison graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1905 with MBChB and gained a BSc in Public Health in 1911. He focused the majority of his career on public health and medical jurispudence. Allison became a fellow of the College in 1920 and served as president from 1952 to 1954.
