            <text>Born in Glasgow in 1956, Kingsley studied drawing and painting at Glasgow School of Art from 1973-77 under Dr David Donaldson, James D. Robertson and Geoffrey Squire.  Since that time he has exhibited with the RSA, RGI, RSW and PAI and served as a council member at Paisley Art Institute for 15 years. In 1999 John was awarded the Diploma of the Paisley Art Institute.  He was an art teacher at various Glasgow schools before becoming a full-time artist in 1997.  He lives in Glasgow with his wife Moya Cove.</text>
